A teen and a woman have been taken to the hospital after the scooter the teen was on and the car the woman was driving collided in New Canaan on Tuesday night, according to police.
Police said the sedan and the Vespa collided on South Avenue near the ramp to the Merritt Parkway just after 7:30 p.m.
The investigation is still underway, but police said the sedan was turning left from South Avenue onto the northbound ramp of the Merritt Parkway when it collided with the Vespa, based on the preliminary investigation.
A 17-year-old Stamford teen was driving the Vespa and he was taken to Norwalk Hospital.

A 53-year-old Danbury woman was driving the sedan and she was also taken to Norwalk Hospital, police said.
Police are investigating. No additional information was immediately available.
