New Haven's Downtown Crossing Construction Project Enters Next Phase

City leaders broke ground on Phase 3 of the Downtown Crossing Project, which reconnected the Hill to New Haven and brings in a 10-story bioscience building. The project is meant to reconnect neighborhoods that were destroyed or cut off in 1959 when Route 34 was built.
