A boater found a body floating in Norwalk Harbor Tuesday morning and police are trying to identify the person who was found dead.
The boater found a man’s body floating in the harbor around 9:41 a.m. and the Norwalk Police Marine Unit and Norwalk Fire Marine Unit responded and recovered the body.
Police later identified the person as 26-year-old Christian Bernadel, of Stamford.
There were no signs of obvious injuries and the person and his cause of death has not yet been determined, according to police.

The Norwalk Police Detective Bureau and the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner are investigating.
