Vehicle reportedly shot at while driving on I-91 North in Hartford

A vehicle was reportedly shot at while driving on Interstate 91 North in Hartford early Wednesday morning and the area was briefly closed while state police investigated.

Dispatchers said they received a call from someone reporting their vehicle was shot at while on the highway near exit 29A around 2 a.m.

Investigators said after the shooting, the person continued to their home and then called state police.

I-91 North between exits 29 and 29A and Route 15 North between exits 87 and 89 were briefly closed and have since reopened.

The investigation is ongoing.
