Police from two towns are investigating a possible home invasion and abduction early morning in Enfield.
Enfield police were called to 34 Spring Street at 2:30 a.m., following an initial report indicating that a woman was abducted by her own husband or boyfriend. However, police are still working to confirm whether the incident was a domestic issue.
The call came from a third party.
Police said they found the woman alone at a South Windsor home at 4:30 a.m. and that the vehicle she was reported missing in was there.
Enfield police said they're trying to determine whether the woman was kidnapped or whether this was just a big misunderstanding.
