Vernon police are investigating an untimely death the happened near a boat launch Friday afternoon.
Authorities said they responded to the parking lot of the Middle Bolton Lake Boat Launch on Hatch Hill Road just after 1:45 p.m.
The scene has since cleared. The incident remains under investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the death weren't immediately available.
