Police have charged a man suspected of driving the car that hit and killed a man on a bicycle in Glastonbury last month.
Christopher Blanchard, 43, of East Hartford, was riding his bike on Hebron Avenue on Dec. 3 when a car struck him and took off.
He died at Hartford Hospital a short time later.
Police began investigating and located the suspect vehicle, a tan 2003 Ford sedan, the next day, police said.
Last week, police said they had an arrest warrant for Ian Carter-Sullivan, 25, of Glastonbury, charging him with second-degree manslaughter, evading responsibility and reckless driving. Carter-Sullivan has been in custody since Dec. 6 on parole violations, police said.
He was formally charged on Jan. 20 at Manchester Superior Court.
