Tuesday will be cloudy with temperatures in the 40s. Some clouds and a few spot sprinkles are possible.
By Wednesday, temperatures could soar into the upper 50s and low 60s.

The rain will be heavy at times in the afternoon and evening.
We will also have gusty winds up to 50 to 60 miles per hour in the afternoon and evening.
Property damage and power outages are a possibility with the forecasted wind gusts.
Between one and three inches of rainfall is possible. It may be heavier in eastern Connecticut, and flash flooding is possible.
We are currently at a level 2 risk of flash flooding, meaning it's not a guarantee, but scattered instances of flooding are possible in the hillier terrain and areas that don't drain well.
Towns in southeastern Connecticut could see stronger winds, especially along the shoreline where a high wind watch is in effect.
