Rocket launch visible in Connecticut Tuesday night

Nasa will launch a rocket Tuesday and Connecticut residents may be able to catch a glimpse of its trail around 8:30 p.m.

People in Connecticut had a chance to catch a glimpse of a rocket launch Tuesday night.

NASA launched an Antares rocket from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.

The launch was scheduled for 8:31 p.m. EDT. The rocket was visible in Connecticut a few minutes after the launch.

It's carrying a Northrop Grumman Cygnus cargo spacecraft on a resupply mission to the International Space Station.
