
Part of Route 202 in Torrington was closed for hours because of a gas leak.
Police said a call came in around 5:51 a.m. and Route 202, or East Main Street, was closed at Center Street and it would be closed for a while.
The area between 100 Lower East Main Street and 200 Lower East Main was closed as Eversource crews worked to determine the source of a gas leak, according to police.
Detours were set at Main Street and the on-ramp to Route 8.
