Rocky Hill police said Route 3 has reopened in both directions after a gas leak in the area Wednesday evening.
The road, also known as Cromwell Avenue, was closed in the area of Inwood Avenue.
The leak was coming from a maintenance garage at a paving company, according to police.
The leak has since been contained.

Two workers experienced respiratory issues but were feeling better, police said.
