A woman was taken to the hospital after jumping out of a second-floor window during a fire that broke out at a multi-family home in Enfield Tuesday afternoon.
Route 5 was closed between New King Street and Pease Street on Tuesday.
Crews were called to the area at 3 p.m. They found heavy fire on the front porch and a person inside the home was still trapped, according to Fire Captain Jason Flanagan.
The person jumped out of the window and is in stable condition with a few cuts to the hand from broken glass.

No other injuries were reported. The fire marshal is investigating what caused the blaze.
A total of 12 people have been displaced.
