NBC Connecticut

Route 6 in Plymouth has reopened after a car crash late Friday night.

The Terryville Volunteer Fire Department said the road was closed between Seymour Road and Harwinton Avenue.

A crash caused a utility pole to break, and it hung over the road, fire officials said.

A person was hurt, but the extent of their injuries is unknown at this time, according to authorities.

Route 6 was still closed late Friday night, but has since reopened.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
