Route 72 East is closed in Plainville because of a motorcycle crash, according to the CT Department of Transportation.
The road is closed between exits 4 and 2. The crash was reported around 12:15 p.m.
State police said a car and motorcycle collided. Serious injuries are being reported, troopers said.
The investigation remains ongoing. No additional information was immediately available.
