A man has died after a hitting a tree off Route 9 South in Haddam Thursday morning.
State police said a vehicle rolled over near exit 15, went off the road and struck a tree in the median.
The driver, 61-year-old Francisco Alves Ribeiro, of Danbury, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.
The crash remains under investigation.
