Two taken to hospital after serious crash in downtown Stamford

Two people were taken to the hospital with injuries after a serious crash in downtown Stamford on Monday night.

The police department said Washington Boulevard was closed at the intersection with Bridge Street. Drivers were asked to stay away from the area.
