One person was killed in a crash caused by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 91 South in Wallingford Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to the crash near exit 15 around 2:45 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.
According to police, 77-year-old Concetta Getman, of Meriden, was driving north in the southbound lanes of the highway and collided head-on with another vehicle.
Getman was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she died of her injuries. The occupants of the other car were taken to Hartford Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

There were lane closures in the area until around 7 p.m. Sunday.
