One person has died and three others are injured after a crash on Route 6 in Chaplin on Saturday.
State police said a Nissan Murano was traveling eastbound on Route 6 around 9 a.m. when it crossed into the westbound side of the road and collided with a Nissan Maxima.
A passenger in the Nissan Murano, later identified as 79-year-old Beverly Elwood, of Storrs, died of her injuries.
The driver in the Nissan Murano and the driver and passenger in the Nissan Maxima all sustained minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Trooper Barile #1174 at Troop D at (860) 779-4900.
