Two people have died after a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Fairfield late Thursday night.
William Foster, 75, of Bridgeport, and Fred Eugene Nimmon, 70, of Aspers, Pennsylvania, were killed in the crash, according to state police.
The crash happened on Interstate 95 North, near exit 22, at 11:59 p.m.
State police said the Chevrolet Impala that Foster was driving spun out and hit the concrete barrier.

Then a BMW hit the Impala and Foster was thrown from his car, state police said.
The tractor-trailer Nimmon was driving also hit the Impala, then hit the concrete barrier, and he was thrown from the truck into the median of I-95 South, state police said.
Nimmon and Foster both died at the scene.

The driver of the BMW sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, state police said.
