Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a motorcycle crash on Route 63 in Litchfield.
State police responded to the crash scene, near Webster Road, around 3:35 p.m. on Monday.
Fire officials said two people were taken to separate hospitals with serious injuries.
A LifeStar helicopter was called to the scene, state police said.

The fire department said Route 63 will remain closed for an extended period of time. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
The crash remains under investigation.
