A DOT spokesperson said no one was hurt and the fire did not affect operations.
Firefighters responded to the Department of Transportation in Winsted after several trucks caught fire at the facility Friday morning.
The location on Torrington Road is a repair facility, according to a DOT spokesperson.
Officials said four trucks were involved in the fire, which started with a service truck and then moved to three retired vehicles. The fire did not impact operations.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
