Multiple people are now displaced after a fire broke out on Park Road in Hamden Tuesday night.
Fire officials said they responded to the 2-alarm fire at 295 Park Rd. shortly after 8:45 p.m.
Firefighters were able to confine the blaze to the apartment it originated from and ultimately put it out.
No injuries were reported, and the Red Cross is helping seven people who are displaced due to smoke and fire damage.

Authorities said they fire may have sparked from an overloaded extensions cord.
The fire is under investigation.
