A 21-year-old man who was shot in New Haven on Wednesday afternoon has died, according to the mayor.
The shooting happened in the area of Ferry Street and Wolcott Street.
The victim, a New Haven man, was likely on a bike and he was shot by someone who was in a car and drove off, according to police.
The mayor said the victim was shot in the head.
