Police have charged four people after responding to a fight and stabbing in the parking garage at Westfarms.
Four people, including three minors, have been arrested after a fight led to a stabbing in the parking garage of Westfarms over the weekend.
Officers were called to the upper-level garage of Westfarms around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a fight between multiple women.
Investigators said a group of mostly minors came to the mall for a fight. According to police, an 18-year-old woman from Hartford began fighting a 15-year-old.
During the fight, police said the 15-year-old took out of a pocketknife from her pocket and stabbed the 18-year-old multiple times in the leg before fleeing the scene with her accomplice. After the stabbing, officers found the suspects hiding in the woods.

The 18-year-old was treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries before being taken to the hospital for treatment.
“The safety and security of our customers and employees is our first priority. This isolated incident is unacceptable conduct and undermines our family friendly standards at Westfarms," said Westfarms spokesperson Amanda Sirica.
Authorities said, four people, including three minors, were identified as the primary instigators and aggressors. All four were charged with breach of peace. The 15-year-old was additionally charged with assault and reckless endangerment while the 18-year-old was additionally charged with assault.
