The driver of a tractor-trailer was killed when his truck crashed on Interstate 395 North in Putnam Friday morning.
The crash happened around 3:50 a.m. near Exit 45, according to state police.
The driver, identified as 56-year-old Archie Miller, of Kingston, Pennsylvania, lost control of the truck and ran off the left shoulder of the highway, state police said.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.

I-395 was shut down for several hours while police investigated the crash. Police initially said there were two tractor-trailers involved, but later said only Miller's truck was involved in the crash.
