Several lanes of Interstate 91 in East Windsor are closed Friday morning after a driver hit a tractor-trailer and the truck went over the median, according to state police.
State police said the crash happened just after 6 a.m. near exit 45.
The driver of a Volkswagen Jetta lost control and hit the side of tractor-trailer, which caused the driver of the truck to lose control and hit a concrete barrier, state police said.
The truck went over the median, hit a light support and stradded the left shoulder of I-91 South and I-91 North,

The truck driver reported minor injuries and was taken to Saint Francis Hospital. To be evaluated.
The driver of the Jetta reported minor injuries but refused medical treatment at the scene, state police said.
He was issued an infraction for failure to maintain proper lane.
