Two Charged After Loud Prostitution Negotiation: Report

A man who is hard of hearing needed alleged prostitute to speak up, according to the report.

A man with a hearing problem faces charges after he allegedly asked a prostitute to speak up while they negotiated a deal.

Michael Carrier, 45, was arrested in New Milford Aug. 11, according to the Republican-American.

Carrier, who is from Bristol,  was at a Friendly's restaurant with a woman when asked her to speak loudly because he had trouble hearing, the paper reported. The two were negotiating a money-for-sex deal, according to police.

The conversation became so loud that other customers heard the transaction and called police.

Carrier was charged with soliciting a prostitute. The woman, 46-year-old Linda Ottanio-King, is facing prostitution charges.
