Waterbury police have arrested a suspect in a fatal home invasion in November 2020 who was at large.
The four suspects are accused of a home invasion robbery at an apartment on Cherry Street that led to the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Eric Richard.
Waterbury detectives assigned to the U.S. Marshal Task Force extradited 36-year-old Carlos Pagan-Reyes, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, back to Connecticut on Wednesday in connection with the 2020 murder of Eric B. Richard.
Reyes was served with an active arrest warrant charging him with murder, reckless endangerment in the first degree, criminal use of a weapon, illegal transfer of a pistol/revolver, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, illegal discharge of a firearm, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree and criminal possession of firearm/ammunition.

He was held on a $2 million dollar bond and arraigned in court yesterday
Police said two of the suspects had been found in Fishkill, New York and were extradited to Connecticut to face charges of murder and first-degree robbery. They also had outstanding warrants for unrelated cases, according to police.
A third suspect was held on unrelated charges in Pennsylvania and was also charged with murder and first-degree robbery.
