Some Webster Bank customers experienced issues with their accounts Friday due to a processing delay.
“We know that you rely on us for your banking needs, and we’re working to fix this as quickly as possible,” the company said on its social media accounts. “We understand that this is inconvenient, and we apologize for the delay.”
The problem was resolved later Friday.
"Customer account balances are up-to-date and accurate. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers. Webster will continue to work closely with every one of its customers who were impacted to minimize such impact wherever possible," a statement on the Webster Bank website read Friday night.
