Devon Still Celebrates Daughter Leah Being Cancer-Free for 1 Year

Leah Still is a source of strength to her father

National Football League player Devon Still is celebrating his daughter being cancer-free for one year. Still took to his Instagram account to mark the milestone.

"I want to wish a Happy (2nd) Birthday to my baby, Leah. Today, March 25th, marks a year of her being in remission! A day she was given a second chance at life. There's not enough hours in a day, days in a month, or months in a year to tell you how much I love you and how proud of you I am," Still wrote.

"Keep fighting and keep inspiring! #LeahStrong #BeatCancer #StillStrong"

Leah garnered a legion of fans and supporters as Still documented her cancer fight on his social media portals.

The 5-year-old was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in June 2014 and given a 50-50 chance to survive. Devon, now a defensive lineman with the Houston Texans, told TODAY.com that he got strength from watching his daughter's cancer fight.

Leah has helped raise more than $1 million for cancer research and she won an ESPY Award for her courage.
