DICK'S Sporting Goods Recalls Inversion Tables After Falls

DICK'S Sporting Goods announced that customers who bought the company’s Fitness Gear Inversion Tables between November 2011 and September 2014 are encouraged to return the tables to a local DICK'S store to receive a full refund in the form of a store gift card, NBC News reported. People who use the tables (Style STE00059FG or Style STE00118FG) can flip themselves upside down as a way to boost flexibility, though the company reported that some people had been harmed by the devices. "While the Fitness Gear Inversion Table product manual clearly stresses the importance of ensuring the ankle locking systems are engaged, some customers have fallen and sustained injuries," the company stated in its recall alert.
