Dozens of small businesses took part in the annual Black-owned business expo at Dunkin’ Park in Hartford and said it helps the businesses and the community. 

A group of UConn grad students can now tell you where small businesses across the country have the longest life expectancies. They developed a metric system with a goal of helping small business owners determine whether they need to close up shop or expand.
