Wintry weather could cause slick conditions for parts of Connecticut Monday morning

Monday morning could be slick in parts of Connecticut.

For Sunday, we'll start chilly again with clouds developing in the afternoon with highs returning to the mid 30s.

A quick moving system arrives early Monday morning with the potential for a few snow showers with mixed precipitation and rain for some parts of the state.

A winter weather advisory will be in effect until 9 a.m. on Monday morning.

There is the potential for some freezing rain that could create some treacherous travel for some areas of Connecticut.

Another system brings just rain Monday night into Tuesday morning.
