We started the final weekend of 2024 with some rain that had the potential to cause slippery surfaces. The good news is that the threat for freezing rain is over, but the weekend will continue to be damp and foggy. Visibility will be less than a mile at times through Saturday and parts of Sunday.
Rain will gradually come to an end this afternoon. Drizzle and mist are still a possibility through the evening and overnight hours with the fog. Light rain will start up again into Sunday morning.

Most of Sunday afternoon looks to stay dry at this time, but our StormTracker meteorologists are tracking a chance for heavier rainfall into Monday morning.
As a reminder, fog can significantly delay travel times. Leave with plenty of time to reach your destination. High beams can actually make it more difficult to see in the fog. Instead, consider using fog lights or low beams and allowing more distance between your vehicle and others on the road. Drier weather will arrive quickly Monday afternoon.
