Rain continues to move through Connecticut for a second day, causing some isolated flooding.
Heavy rain led to flash flood warnings for parts of the state earlier Tuesday, but those warnings have expired.
Shoreline East suspended rail service Tuesday morning due to flooding, but service has been restored. New Haven Health delayed opening its clinic Tuesday due to flooding.

The rain is expected to end overnight.
Tomorrow, there may be a few showers. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the 70s.
Thursday looks mostly sunny with highs around 77. Friday looks similar with highs near 80.

- Lisbon: 9.03 inches
- Wallingford: 7.06 inches
- Moosup: 6.91 inches
- Guilford: 6.86 inches
- North Haven: 6.14 inches
- Higganum: 6.13 inches
- Montville: 4.25 inches
Flash flooding of poor drainage areas is likely. Smaller rivers and streams should be monitored. High temperatures peaked in the 60s and 70s on Tuesday.
Some towns could see as much as three inches of rain on Tuesday.
Several roads are closed including:
- Killingworth: Route 148 at Stonehill Drive because of a tree down with wires
- Sherman: Route 55 between Anderson Road East and Evans Hill Road because of tree and wires down
