From Spring to Winter: Temperatures plummet overnight

NBCUniversal Media, LLC

The first half of Saturday was mild and sunny with afternoon highs reaching the mid 50s to low 60s across the state.

Things changed pretty quickly Saturday afternoon as rain and even a few snow showers moved in, dropping the temps more than 20 degrees.

We'll continue to cool through the evening before temperatures bottom out in the teens Sunday morning.

Sunday morning wind chills will be near 0 in some areas.

Temperatures will remain below average through Sunday and Monday.

We'll warm back into the 40s and 50s by the middle of next week with another round of rain possible.
