The light-to-moderate snow and freezing drizzle that fell Tuesday will likely lead to some slick conditions throughout the night.
The precipitation ended around 6 p.m. but clearing skies, falling temperatures, and a light breeze mean wet roads and surfaces could become icy. Temperatures around 10 to 12 degrees mean black ice could develop.

Areas in southern Connecticut wound up with 1 inch or less of snow, but with a glaze of ice, while northern Connecticut expected to see one to three inches of snow with locally higher amounts possible.

COVID-19 Testing
The Northeast District Department of Health has closed the Putnam COVID-19 test site on Kennedy Drive Tuesday because of snow. Testing is scheduled to resume at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
