It was an eventful overnight, as expected, with periods of snow and a mix of freezing rain, sleet and rain. Slippery travel was experienced in the early morning, but increased traffic and treatments help roads become wet instead of icy. Our skies will remain gray today with temps moving up to 39 to 47 this afternoon. As you can see below, StormTracker future radar shows rain moving through tonight and early tomorrow.

The rain will end early and the sun should come out by late morning...temperatures tomorrow will soar to unseasonably warm highs.

The weather pattern is active and another storm system will fly at us later Wednesday and Wednesday night. Rain can be heavy at times into Thursday morning.

The next big weather theme will be a cold snap that arrives as we start the winter season (Solstice on Saturday). Day time highs in the 20s to lower 30s with overnight lows from 5-18 degrees early next week.
