Another in a long series of fair weather days expected today. As we move forward we see a pattern change that will bring needed rainfall overnight tomorrow night into Thursday.
Periods of rain, embedded thunderstorms, and some wind will blow through here Thursday morning.

Rainfall amounts of 0.5" to 1.5" are expected across Connecticut. This won't be enough to erase the drought but every little bit helps. It will lower our fire danger too.
A significant upper level low pressure system (in blue) will aid in bringing us the rain (and wet snow in the Northeast)
Cooler and somewhat cloudy weather will linger beyond the storm for Friday and Saturday.
