Brrrrr! Very cold air is sinking south across New England tonight and making it feel quite chilly. A northwest wind will stay steady overnight, at 10-15 miles per hour, making it feel even colder.
The hill towns will feel as cold as 0 to 10 below zero. Inland areas will feel about 5 degrees. Shoreline locations will feel about 5 to 10 degrees. As you step out Sunday morning, grab the winter hat, gloves, and thick jacket. Stay covered from the cold wind!

Sunday is sunny and blustery as winds gradually calm through the day.
Temperatures will drop into the single digits for many on Monday morning before we slowly warm back to near average ahead of our next precipitation chance. Depending on temperatures, we could be tracking a rain/snow mixture through Christmas Eve.
After Christmas and the start of Hanukkah, temperatures will continue to rise. By the last weekend of 2024, highs will be well into the 40s, approaching 50.
