Back-to-back record heat. Thursday we saw temperatures reach 84° in Hartford, yesterday we saw 84° again! Friday in Bridgeport the old record of 71° was demolished with temps 10 degrees warmer, reaching 81°. Both cities not only broke the daily records but also came in with the warmest all-time temperature record for the month of November!
While there is no longer a red flag warning, an elevated fire danger will remain in place this weekend. Most fires start because of human error, so let's be extra careful out there.

Seasonal high temperatures are expected this weekend. Saturday afternoon we'll see mostly sunny skies and temperatures around 57°.
Temperatures will be a bit cooler for Sunday and Monday afternoons with highs in the mid-50s. We will see another warm-up for the middle of next week with temps returning to the mid-70s by Wednesday.
Our dry stretch will continue with no widespread rainfall expected until the end of the 10-day forecast.
The tropics have become a little more active with three areas of possible development.
None pose a risk to CT but another named storm would bring the total storms for this season up to 16. We're already running above the 14-average named storms for the season.
