Sunday Weather Blog
Scattered showers won out for some on Saturday starting at the shoreline and slowly moving inland throughout the evening. In northern CT, there were more peeks of sunshine allowing temps to climb into the middle to upper 70s.
As we move into this afternoon a few stubborn spotty showers could once again still be hanging around but the overall trend for Sunday will be to dry out. Afternoon temps will range in the upper 60s to near 70°. It's looking good for a day at the fair and for the final day of The Big E.

Our next chance of showers will arrive on Wednesday. A cold front will approach and with it will come some leftover moisture from Helene. A few showers look possible but the trend has been looking drier with limited impacts.
Behind the front, high pressure brings us another dry stretch of weather with sunshine and temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
The tropics remain active. Several areas are being watched for possible development. Unfortunately, one of those areas could be along the Gulf of Mexico over the next 7 days.
