An offshore storm we've been tracking for days is just far enough east to spare us any significant rain over the coming days. It's proximity, however, will result in a gusty northerly wind through Saturday and cooler temperatures.

Today will feature another very tough forecast...most clouds and chance of showers EAST, with partly sunny conditions in CENTRAL and WESTERN parts of the state.

Saturday night is looking better, but nothing is set in stone right now as far as shower chances. Florida Atlantic is in town for a big Saturday night match up.

Sunday looks like a pleasant day in Connecticut with temperatures near 70 and partly sunny skies.
