An area of low pressure over Pennsylvania has been moving east toward Connecticut during the day Sunday, bringing a chance for rain from time to time.

A warm front has been snaked across the state Sunday separating chilly temperatures to the north (40s over the Berkshires) from warmer weather to the south (70s as close as New York City). We've seen a fairly sharp gradient in afternoon temperatures across Connecticut today.

Skies will clear on Monday with plenty of sunshine expected for the week ahead. It will be cool with areas of patchy frost over the coming days.
