A few clouds mix in through the overnight with patchy fog again by morning.
The forecasting challenge is the area of rainfall associated with the "No Name" storm in the Carolinas that is going to try to lift north...but high pressure and fair weather will try to hold on and suppress the rain south of us. We have included shower chances in the forecast, but they are pretty low and it may stay dry for the next several days.

Showers will try to move into the state late Wednesday night and Thursday morning with scattered showers, lasting into Thursday afternoon.
By Friday a backdoor cold front will push in from the northeast sending a few showers back into CT. But we'll dry things back out for the upcoming weekend.
A few showers are also possible on Friday.
That cold front will also get rid of the humidity we're expecting with the showers for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will also fall to slightly cooler than normal levels.
In the tropics, we also still have the Remnants of Gordon, but that is expected to stay out to sea, having no impacts to land.

Outside of the midweek rain chances, it looks like high pressure will regain control once again by the weekend with cooler temps in the low 70s, feeling like fall with lower humidity.
