A sprawling area of low pressure off to our southwest will try to force clouds and rainfall into Connecticut over time. It will struggle as high pressure and dry air is in place here. Thickening clouds are expected later today and tonight. Highs will be warm, in the middle 70s inland and middle 60sd at the shoreline.

Showers will move in later tomorrow, tomorrow night, and Thursday. The amount and duration of any showers will be less than last weeks soaking.,

A few downpours may greet you early Thursday morning.


Rain chances will remain elevated Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. It won't rain the entire day, but mostly in the afternoon each day. Also, the anticipated rain this week does not appear as though it will be as heavy as last week's deluge.
