Saturday temperatures will hover in the 40s for much of the state through much of the day. Expect cloudy skies and a cool breeze out of the southeast as on and off rain showers are likely. It won't be a washout, but rain chances will stick with us through the day.

Scattered showers are still possible through tonight as temperatures stay in the 40s for much of the state. Rain chances will continue into Sunday morning.

By Sunday afternoon, we should see a brief break in the rainfall. The sun may even make a few appearances as high temperatures warm into the 50s.

The final wave of this system will move through southern New England Sunday night. As temperatures drop into the 30s, a few snowflakes could mix in with these rain showers in northern and northwestern Connecticut. No impacts are expected, but a wet start to the workweek is likely.

Tuesday is trending drier and cooler. Temperatures will warm back into the 50s by Thursday before rain chances return on Friday. We'll track those into next weekend, as well.
