Cooling Temperatures This Weekend

Friday Weather Blog

Beautiful weather is expected Saturday cross Connecticut with temperatures back in the 60s and sunny skies.

High pressure will build in from the west through the weekend which has been a semi-permanent feature locally over the last 2 months.

With the dry weather continuing there is an elevated risk for rapid spread of brush fires Saturday. Winds will increase across the state and relative humidity values will be on the dry side.

Temperatures will be a bit cooler Sunday and Monday but a rapid warming trend is still in the forecast in the days leading up to Halloween.

With no substantial rain in the forecast we are still on track for the driest 2 month stretch on record.
