A fast-moving cold front will fly through today with periods of rain through the early afternoon. 1/4" of rain is expected. Skies will brighten this afternoon.
High temperatures will be in the middle 50s along the shoreline, and mid to upper 40s inland.

The big travel day, Wednesday, looks fair and dry in the region. Dry roads and bright skies are expected. Thanksgiving, however, looks stormy with rain across Connecticut along with wet snow in the mountains to our north. The Berkshires, Greens, and Whites could see a significant snowfall.
In Litchfield County there is the potential for some snow especially above 1,000 feet but at this point the biggest snow risk appears to be to our north.
Behind the holiday system, we're expecting a big temperature change as we head into the first week of December with colder than normal weather across the eastern half of the country.
