A calm overnight continues as temperatures slide downward through the 20's and into the 10's. It's chilly as true winter weather takes hold!
Grab the winter gear as you step out Friday morning. The jacket, hat, and gloves will be needed as temperatures will feel like the teens. The day will continue to be cool, feeling like the mid 20's through the afternoon.

The next few days will be filled with sunshine, which will help make it feel a little bit warmer. We will need that help, because high temperatures will be well below average for this time of the year.
High pressure will be in control this weekend, keeping the sky mainly clear and giving us cool temperatures. The high pressure will slide east next week, bringing warmer, wetter weather conditions into our area Monday night through Tuesday.
Next week, we'll have rain chances late Monday, early Tuesday, then again on Thursday. It will be a milder week with multiple chances of rain. Chances for snow remain on the lower side.
